In a 300 years old residence of Artists centrally located at Lal Ghat in Udaipur the famous artist Jai Raj Soni (gold medal winner) and his brother's Nirbhay Raj, Giriraj & Rakesh Soni started in 1999 the rebuilding of the house in old Haveli style, but modem and comfortable for foreign guests. His father, grandfather and forefathers have been artists as well and worked for the Maharaja of Udaipur since more than 300 years.
